466 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will recognise six years worked by a primary school teacher (details supplied) in Dublin 5 in Belvedere College Junior School, Dublin 1, together with an additional year teaching in Switzerland with a view to establishing her at point 11 or point 12 on the pay scale and paying her a lump sum or back payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Unfortunately, the teacher to whom the Deputy refers does not appear to have applied for incremental credit. The necessary claim forms were issued by my Department on 18 June 1998 and have not yet been returned. As soon as the completed forms are received in my Department, the teacher's claim will be assessed and she will be informed of the outcome.
