Question:94 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a district veterinary office will be opened in County Wicklow after 31 December 1998. [16447/98]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 93 and 94 together.
The Office of Public Works is proceeding with the provision of a district veterinary office for this Department in Wicklow town. The new building will also provide accommodation for a number of other Departments and the date of completion is a mater for the Office of Public Works. However, I will be pressing that office to expedite the matter.
