Vol. 494 No. 4

Written Answers. - Access for the Disabled.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

371 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands if her attention has been drawn to the absence of access provision for people with a disability to, and within, Ardee Castle, County Louth; if she will ensure that corrective action is taken immediately; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [18548/98]

I am presuming that the Deputy is referring to the building known as the Courthouse at Townparks in Ardee. This building is not in the care of my Department and Dúchas, the heritage service, of my Department is not in a position to undertake any works there.
