107 Mr. Gormley asked the Taoiseach if he will provide a breakdown of the real price differentials between petrol and diesel prices for each of the years 1987, 1997 and to date in 1998; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18312/98]
The national average prices for petrol and diesel, as collected for the Consumer Price Index, along with the absolute and percentage differentials for the months of August 1987, August 1997 and August 1998 respectively are given in the attached table.
