125 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the outcome of an application made for grant aid to the Central Fisheries Board by a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny towards the end of 1997. [18292/98]
While the administration of the tourism angling measure is a matter for the Central Fisheries Board, I have had inquiries made and I am advised that certain planning aspects of the project, which have been discussed with the applicant, require to be resolved. This has delayed finalisation of the project by the applicant and consequently final decisions on grant-aid have been put back.
