Question:

173 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food to list all weeds and plant types described as noxious in view of the powers vested in him by section 2 of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1936. [17648/98]

The following plants have been specified as noxious weeds under the Noxious Weeds Act, 1936: thistle, ragwort, dock, common barberry, male wild hop, and wild oat.
