94 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received a copy of the pre-budget submission prepared by Women's Aid; his views on the need for a preventative programme within the education system as set out in the submission; and if he will accede to the specific requests set out in the submission directed at his Department. I have received a copy of the submission referred to by the Deputy. I have asked officials of my Department to meet with representatives of Women's Aid to discuss the contents of the submission with them. I will consider further the proposal made by Women's Aid following this meeting.
