157 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be paid a 1998 cattle headage grant in view of the fact that he submitted documents to the area aid unit over three weeks ago to resolve the problem on his application. [20344/98]

The person named submitted an incorrect land parcel number on his 1998 area aid application. After correspondence it was determined that a different parcel was being claimed by the person named. This parcel must now be digitised before the area aid application can be further processed.
