222 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of civil court proceedings currently in progress in which he has been named as the principal respondent; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20033/98]

There are at present four civil court proceedings in progress in which I have been named as the principal respondent.

I am not including cases in which I have been named as an equal joint respondent.
