Question:

273 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to the serious sewerage difficulties experienced by rural villagers (details supplied) in County Clare; and whether this matter will be reviewed by his Department and Clare County Council with a view to eliminating the very serious difficulties. Contract documents for a proposed sewerage scheme at the location in question are with my Department. However, given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage investment programme, I cannot say when it will be possible to advance this scheme.
