443 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Education and Science the situation concerning the funding of a new Gaelscoil in Mullingar, County Westmeath; and if he will give a progress report on developments to date. [20504/98]

My Department has sought information from the school in respect of the proposed development. When this information has been received, and considered, the matter will be progressed.

444 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Education and Science the situation concerning the proposed extension to St. Mary's CBS, Mullingar, County Westmeath. [20505/98]

Coláiste Mhuire, Mullingar, County Westmeath, forwarded a report outlining a number of solutions for the provision of additional accommodation to my Department for consideration. However, on examination, these proposals were not regarded as viable by my Department. The school authority has recently presented another option, which is being considered by my Department.

446 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress, if any, made in the provision of a new building for the Gaelscoil, Cobh, County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20528/98]

Architectural planning work for the proposed new school has been completed and the project is now at tender stage.
