448 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science the size of the demographic dividend of teachers released from the primary system as a result of falling pupil numbers; the distribution of these teachers showing the number allocated to one teacher schools, remedial teaching home school community liaison, resource teaching, teaching counsellor services, early start, breaking the cycle and other duties. The demographic dividend in the 1997-98 school year was 189 posts. These posts were allocated as set out in the following table:
