117 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children if home help can be provided in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; if his Department will examine the best way to offer support to this family; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22322/98]

As the Deputy will be aware, the provision of health services in the Kildare area is a matter for the Eastern Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the Eastern Health Board to investigate this case as a matter of urgency and respond directly to the Deputy with the board's findings.
