20 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the number of requests under the Freedom of Information Act, 1997, made to his Department since it came into effect; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23228/98]

The Freedom of Information Act came into effect on 21 April 1998 and to date my Department has received 120 requests for information under the Act.
