Vol. 496 No. 5

Written Answers. - Irish Farmers' Association.

John Bruton

Question:

44 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will provide details of any written communication he has had in the past three months with the President or General Secretary of the Irish Farmers' Association. [20121/98]

Within the past three months, five items of written correspondence were recorded from the President of the Irish Farmers' Association to the Minister for Agriculture and Food, regarding current issues. No correspondence from the general secretary was recorded during that period.

I should add that the Irish Farmers' Association correspond with officials, including the Secretary General of my Department, on a regular basis.
