122 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the plans, if any, the Western Health Board has to improve the speech and language therapy policy for adults; and if a therapist will be appointed to deal specifically with adults. [23298/98]
Proposals for the development of services have been received by my Department from the Western Health Board which include additional posts of speech and language therapist. These proposals will be considered in the context of funding available for the development of services in 1999.
