75 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Defence the capital projects involving funding from his Department scheduled to commence in the Waterford constituency in 1999; the estimated expenditure in each case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25047/98]

Minister for Defence (Mr. M. Smith):

There are no capital building projects proposed to commence in 1999 in Waterford Barracks or Dungarvan FCA premises, the only locations in County Waterford used by the Defence Forces which are owned by my Department. Routine maintenance will be carried out as required.
