Question:78 Ms Cooper-Flynn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a person (details supplied) in County Mayo can have his herdnumber amalgamated with another herdnumber in view of the circumstances. [24922/98]
Written Answers - Herd Numbers.
The herdnumber of the person referred to was suspended on 4 November as he was out of stock. However, it has since been reactivated and the herdnumber of the herdowner's late father P1511074 has been cancelled. The person named should use herdnumber P1502342 when applying for headage, premia and area aid schemes. Any queries he may have as regards quota transfers should be referred to quota section in Castlebar in relation to ewe premium or to milk quota section, Agriculture House in relation to milk quota. Based on the information provided to the Castlebar District Veterinary Office at the time a new herdnumber was allocated to the brother of the person in question on 2 October 1998.
