85 Mr. Dukes asked the Minister for Defence his intentions in relation to the continuation of the planning and design team unit in Ceannt Barracks, the Curragh, County Kildare; if it is his intention to close this unit; and, if so, the plans, if any, in place for the redeployment of the staff employed there. The civilian personnel who work within the planning and design team will now come under the remit of the new supply and services unit of the Defence Forces training centre on the Curragh. Their present reporting relationships with military engineers will continue on as before. No other changes are envisaged.
