126 Mr. U. Burke asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources when persons (details supplied) in County Galway will receive a grant under the forestry headage scheme; and his views on whether the delay is as a result of decentralisation. [25906/98]

Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources (Dr. Woods):

A forestry premium payment due in respect of the applicant's plantation, CNI2940, will issue on 3 December 1998.

The delay was due to problems in establishing the applicant's entitlement to the farmer rate of premium.
