178 Mr. Noonan asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will increase the allocation made from lottery funds in 1997 to the Neurofibromatosis Association of Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25912/98]
I inform the Deputy that my Department received an application for a grant from the 1998 health allocation of national lottery funds from the Neurofibromatosis Association of Ireland.
This application for funding towards the cost of a study on the use of family support workers is still under the consideration for a grant from my Department. The organisation will be informed as soon as a decision has been made.
