257 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received an indication regarding the extra facilities required at Maynooth post primary school, County Kildare; if the full schedule of requirements has been evaluated by his Department; the extent to which it is proposed to meet these requirements in the next twelve months; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Approval for architectural planning to commence on this project was issued recently by my Department and the invitation of tenders for this project will be considered once the planning process has been completed. It is not possible at this point to say when construction will commence.

258 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science the extent to which school place requirements are being met at Confey College, Leixlip, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26089/98]
