72 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will provide funding for a general purpose room for Anacarty national school, County Tipperary, in view of the fact the board of management submitted plans and proposals for the extension in March 1998. [24725/98]

Minister for Education and Science (Mr. Martin):

An application has been received by my Department from Anacarty national school for funding towards an extension and refurbishment. This application is under consideration and my Department will be in touch with the school in the matter.
