Vol. 497 No. 7

Written Answers - School Placement.

Brian O'Shea

Question:

176 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will arrange for an appropriate education for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin who has been expelled from school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26185/98]

I am not aware of the case referred to by the Deputy. My Department will contact the family with a view to establishing more accurately the education needs of the child in question. It may also be necessary to involve my Department's psychological service in the case. Every effort will be made to restart the child's education as soon as possible.
