110 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if the application by a person (details supplied) in County Waterford for grant aid under the programme for renewal of the whitefish fleet will be re-examined in view of the fact that this person has previously lost out on grant aid; and if he will make a statement on the matter. BIM has responsibility for the detailed assessment and decision making on applications for funding in line with the published criteria set out in the programme for renewal of the whitefish fleet. Accordingly, the applicant in question should, more appropriately, address his concerns to BIM.
