135 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will assist the Dungarvan Urban District Council to provide finance to purchase the area known as the Hermitage at Abbeyside, Dungarvan, County Waterford, in order that it can be retained and developed as an open space. The question of purchasing and financing of land for open space is a matter for individual local authorities and my Department has no funds at its disposal to assist such purchase.
