Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Ivor Callely

Question:

218 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the top 20 largest recipients by category on a county by county basis, including names and addresses who received payments made by or through his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27530/98]

The 20 largest payments to recipients under schemes operated by my Department to date this year by scheme and county location are set out in the following table. However, as the Deputy will be aware it has been the policy of successive Government administrations to treat as confidential details of individual beneficiaries under Government schemes.
