The company has lodged a claim for the payment of grant-aid awarded under the FEOGA marketing and processing scheme. The claim is currently being processed and payment will be made as soon as this has been completed.

Question:249 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 260 of 3 November 1998, area aid problems will be resolved for a person (details supplied) in County Sligo; if 1998 cattle headage will be released in view of the fact that the documentation has been forwarded; if the area aid unit will directly contact him to resolve any difficulties; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The area aid application for the person named is currently being finalised. When this has been completed any outstanding payments due will issue as soon as possible.
