336 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the recent contacts, if any, he has had with a recycling company (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27645/98]

I refer to the reply to Question No. 241 of 1 December 1998. I, and officials of my Department, have had telephone discussions with a director of the company in question, arising from the market difficulties which it is currently experiencing.
