169 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department has received an application from County Wexford VEC in relation to Adamstown Vocational College, County Wexford, which is seeking the purchase of adjoining land to provide playing pitch facilities; and if he will make available financial resources from his Department to meet this need. My Department has not received any application from County Wexford Vocational Committee for the provision of playing pitches at Adamstown Vocational College.

I can assure the Deputy that if such an application is received, it will be considered in the light of available resources and competing priorities
