666 Mr. Noonan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the reason a thatching grant has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1232/99]

In the circumstances of the case, a further report is being sought from the Department's inspector. The applicant will be notified of the outcome as soon as possible.
