705 Mr. Upton asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the measures, if any, he has taken to assist the refurbishment and improvement of a flats complex (details supplied) in Dublin 8; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1636/99]
Dublin Corporation's request for special funding for the comprehensive redevelopment of a number of flat complexes in the city, including the particular complex referred to, was approved in principle on 8 December 1998. A capital provision of £6.5 million is available in 1999 for commencement of the redevelopment proposals.
