Question:767 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands if her Department will examine the structure of Carlow Castle, Carlow town, with a view to carrying out some maintenance and preservation work in 1999; if her Department will prepare a scheme of work which will highlight the castle and make it more accessible in view of the developments taking place around the castle; and if her Department will discuss with local groups the promotion and inclusion of this site as part of a county tourism package for Carlow.
