Vol. 499 No. 1

Written Answers. - School Accommodation.

John Bruton

Question:

924 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to an application (details supplied) by St. Joseph's secondary school, Navan, County Meath, to replace substandard classroom accommodation and for the provision of facilities for disabled students; if he will allocate the necessary funding towards the project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1256/99]

The school authorities have recently applied for increased funding for the project in question. Officials in the building unit of my Department have been in contact with the school principal regarding this matter. An assessment will now be made of the application and a decision conveyed to the school as quickly as possible.
