An application has been received from County Westmeath vocational education committee for a technology room at Columba College, Killucan. This project is at an early stage of architectural planning. The vocational education committee has recently submitted outline sketches and drawings to the Department for consideration. A letter will issue shortly to the VEC in relation to this submission. The question of approval to proceed to construction will be addressed when the architectural planning process has been successfully completed.
