131 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department has considered the proposal from Kilkenny VEC for funding to carry out urgent repairs to the roof and building of Ormonde College, College Road, Kilkenny; and when a decision will be made in this regard. [3159/99]
A report on the repairs to the roof and building at Ormonde College, Kilkenny has been received from County Kilkenny Vocational Education Committee. When the report has been considered officials in the planning and building unit will contact the VEC with a view to progressing priority works. The question of these works proceeding will be considered in the light of available recourses and competing priorities.
