Vol. 499 No. 5

Written Answers. - Registration of Title.

Michael Creed

Question:

81 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the steps, if any, he will take to ensure that a land certificate is lodged in respect of an estate (details supplied) in County Cork in order that title can be secured; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3162/99]

A formal application has been made by the Irish Land Commission to the Land Registry Office, Waterford to make an order under section 105(2) of the Registration of Title Act, 1964 which will compel the bearer of the land certificate in question to lodge it in order that the registration may proceed.
