229 Ms O. Mitchell asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will ensure that the promised Local Government (Planning and Development) Bill will include provision which will allow contributions to be levied on large scale developments towards the cost of public transport provision, other than road contributions. My proposals regarding development contributions will be contained in the major Bill to reform and consolidate the Planning Acts which I hope to publish by mid-year.
