202 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Education and Science the position in relation to the preparations for the proposed new Gaelscoil in Cobh, County Cork; when building will commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3867/99]

Tenders for the new building for the gaelscoil in Cobh are currently under evaluation in my Department. When this process has been completed, a contractor will be appointed. At this stage, I cannot give a definitive date for work commencing on site.
