Question:351 Ms Clune asked the Minister for Education and Science when his Department will approve a grant application from Scoil Mhuire girls' secondary school, Wellington Road, Cork. [3974/99]
Written Answers. - School Accommodation.
On foot of an application for additional accommodation received from Scoil Mhuire, a schedule of overall accommodation to cater for a projected long-term enrolment of 400 pupils was agreed between my Department and the school authorities. The school's design team was then requested to prepare a feasibility study in order to determine how the additional accommodation should be provided. This feasibility study was submitted in December 1998 and is currently being considered by my Department. A response will issue to the school authorities as soon as possible.
