11 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Public Enterprise the contacts, if any, she has had with the new board of Telecom Éireann; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4637/99]

Mr. Thompson, Mr. MacSharry and Mr. Flavin met with me on the eve of their appointment to the board of Telecom Éireann and I subsequently met socially with Mr. Thompson again. I also met with Mr. Ron Bolger.
