Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if his Department will make an early reply to a request from a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 regarding his complaint at the treatment he received from doctors while his wife was in hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm to the Deputy that I have received correspondence from the person referred to in the question. The issues raised by the correspondent are, at present, being investigated by the assistant inspector of mental hospitals who hopes to be in a position to finalise his inquiries in the near future. A reply will issue directly to the person concerned as soon as the assistant inspector has completed his inquries
