Question:146 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the proposals, if any, he has to ensure that the relative cost to the retail trade of recycled material for bags as against the cost of plastic bags could be made more equal; and the further proposals, if any, he has either by way of cost penalty on plastic bags or incentives to use recycled material to encourage the retail trade to utilise recycled material.
