Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy McGennis – the reports that files relating to people placed into the industrial school system by the ISPCC and its predecessor, the NSPCC, may have been destroyed; (2) Deputy Fitzgerald – the urgent need to improve services for the adult homeless in Dublin; (3) Deputy Hayes – the need for the Minister for Education and Science to provide additional educational facilities for St. Killian's senior school, Kingswood, Tallaght; (4) Deputy Rabbitte – the subject matter of Parliamentary Question No. 395 of 9 February 1999 to the Minister for Education and Science regarding the needs of St. Killian's national school, Kingswood, Dublin 24; (5) Deputy McGinley – the inconvenience caused to the people of west Donegal since the abolition of District Court sittings in Dunfanaghy, Falcarragh, Bunbeg and Dungloe; (6) Deputy Browne (Carlow-Kilkenny)– the contents of the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 142 of 24 February 1999 in relation to the delay in issuing death certificates.

The matters raised by Deputies Browne (Carlow-Kilkenny), McGennis, Hayes and Rabbitte have been selected for discussion.
