Vol. 501 No. 5

Written Answers. - Garda Stations.

Noel Ahern

Question:

77 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Finance if a fence around a compound on Shanowen Road, Dublin 9, will be repaired in view of the fact it is potentially dangerous to pedestrians. [6574/99]

I presume the area the Deputy is referring to is the car compound adjacent to Santry Garda station. I have been informed by the Commissioners of Public Works that repairs to the fence around the car compound were completed last year. However, in light of the Deputy's inquiry I will arrange for an official to visit the site to assess the situation.
