291 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the number of applications for reconstruction loans made in County Kildare for each of the years 1995 to 1998; the number of successful applications; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7058/99]

The number of local authority house improvement loans paid by Kildare County Council between 1995 and 1998 is set out in the following table:
