Question:368 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when the Land Registry will complete first registration for a person (details supplied) in County Limerick based on his possession of a property. [7250/99]
Written Answers. - Registration of Title.
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing is currently being processed. Queries issued in this matter on 18 September 1998 and replies were received on 5 February 1999. I am further informed that notices were served on affected parties on 8 March 1999.
I understand that due to their complicated nature, applications for first registration can take some time to process and it is not possible to estimate a completion time. However, I can confirm to the Deputy that the matter is being expedited by the Land Registry.
