133 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance the position in relation to the provision of the new Garda station in Leixlip, County Kildare; if site works will commence at an early stage; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7405/99]
The new Garda station is to be provided through a joint development of the existing library site with Kildare County Council. The Office of Public Works architects are in discussion with the council's architects regarding the design of the Garda station element of the development.
It is not possible to say at this stage when site works will commence.
