138 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will increase the amount allocated in 1999 to the South-Eastern Health Board towards the operating costs of community homes (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7292/99]
The amount of allocation to the homes referred to by the Deputy is a matter for determination by the South-Eastern Health Board.
The board has informed me that no final decision has yet been made in relation to such grants for 1999. The board is still awaiting submissions and final accounts from some of the organisations involved before finalising the distribution of available funds for this year.
