Vol. 502 No. 1

Written Answers. - Good Friday Agreement.

John Bruton

Question:

50 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform his views on whether participation by members of a paramilitary organisation in an armed bank raid would constitute a breach of its ceasefire within his understanding of the Good Friday Agreement; and the standard of evidence he would need before drawing such a conclusion. [3165/99]

I refer the Deputy to the replies given by the Taoiseach to questions in the House on 2 February 1999 as reported in the Official Debates at columns 845 to 860 during which the Taoiseach made clear the approach the Government would adopt in dealing with the issues raised by the Deputy.
